A recording artist in her own right, Maeve O’Boyle is a prolific and versatile writer working with some of Europe’s most established names. Performing music from an early age, Maeve was already an established face on the Glasgow music scene by the age of 15 but first came to most peoples attention when she won a ‚Danny‘ after appearing on the Danny Kyle stage at Celtic Connections in 2006. Maeve signed with Scottish Indie, Linn Records, releasing to mass critical acclaim, her debut, ‚All My Sins‘ in the summer of 2009. After a self imposed musical hiatus, Maeve returned to the studio with producer Calum Malcolm, recording an intimate acoustic E.P boasting alternative versions of popular tracks from Maeve’s debut record, and a few well chosen covers, a tipping of the hat to her musical heroes. In 2013 Maeve released her second studio album, ‚Being Patient‘, demonstrating a matured songwriter and passionate observer. Now in creative residency in Germany, Maeve is working towards her third studio album.
